Counselling project at Belfair's School

The purpose of the service is to provide support for vulnerable children in their formative years and consequently help remove barriers to learning enabling them to fulfil their potential.   Each primary school in Southend has access to a counsellor for a minimum of one day a week. The counselling process involves making an assessment of the child’s problems and needs in collaboration with parents and school staff.
