(EAL) English as an additional Language

This project involves providing help and support for families, in particular those newly arrived in Southend schools, where English is not their first language.

Support is offered through practitioner training and via DVD’s and web based resources for school staff/pupils and families. A developing on-line support network also offers advice and guidance.
