Learning Outside the Classroom

Many of the Trust schools have already integrated Learning Outside the Classroom into their curriculum.

The project involves supporting schools to develop a programme which is innovative, progressive and provides an entitlement for students of all ages.

We provide advice, guidance and support to SET schools to promote Outdoor Learning and coordinate a programme of appropriate training and resources for school staff.  This includes collaborating with wider networks of support e.g. Essex Wildlife Trust, Essex Forest Education Initiative, Museums, Libraries, and Focal Point Gallery.
